The Functioning Brain Workshop can be a half or 1 day workshop (depending on depth of content covered in pre-specified time frames) introduction session on how to develop practical strategies to gain greater self awareness, manage your emotions, develop healthy attitudes and build resilience to help people lead successful careers. Key to a healthy life and career is developing emotional resilience and awareness in a variety of situations will support individuals to better achieve their goals, communicate with and manage other people, and spring back emotionally after suffering through a difficult and stressful time in one's life.

The Brain wants to conserve as much energy as possible. When we expend energy from our Brain, it is from our conscious processing – our thinking, our focus, our attention – the things that seem to ensure we are engaged, listening and aware of what is going on within and around us.

We worked closely with Barrett at the beginning of 2009 to develop a tailored Sales Program for ~300 Relationship Managers nationally. This program focused on understanding and developing core components for sales fitness through a very practical 3 day course - which included key concepts such as message intent, backwards planning, valid business reasons, effective questioning and offering solutions. This was supported back in the field by our Regional Managers who delivered 10 follow up sessions and infield coaching after extensive training and coaching by Barrett.
