Annual CSE Sales Leaders Conference 2011 a success

Barrett is pleased to announce the Annual CSE Sales Leaders Conference for 2011 was a great success.

Held at the Crown Promenade in Melbourne, this was the third year the Centre for Sales Excellence conference has run, and from this years feedback the conference is clearly going from strength to strength.

Sue Barrett was honoured to attend, present and act as MC, with The focus for this years conference on The New Era of Professional Selling; The Pathway from Supplier to Partner Status

Over 150 delegates from Australia's premium companies attended and we heard from some of the world's leading experts on sales capability, strategy and culture. There was much talk about the rapidly changing face of our B2B (business to business) sales world and how we need to build relevant and sustainable partnerships if we are to flourish.

We heard from the best of the best of keynote speakers from around the globe, such as one of Australia's top Procurement Leaders, Group Procurement Manager for Porter Davis Homes and former Coles Group Procurement Manager, Craig Rooney. Craig pointed out, like selling, the profession of procurement is undergoing dramatic evolution to adapt to the volatility of today's business world.
A highlight of the conference was the emergence of neuroscience to our effective and sustained performance in sales with live experiments on show.
