A modern UK alternative to the 16PF the 15FQ™ measures 15 of
the 16 original adult personality factors originally proposed by Raymond Cattell.
It is the ideal comprehensive personality assessment questionnaire designed
to have all the advantages of the 16PF yet avoids problems associated with low
reliability associated with some of the 16PF version 4 scales and poor cross
cultural transferability of many of the items.
What the 15FQ™ Measures
Designed to measure the original 16PF factors more reliably with
up-to-date and culturally sensitive items the 15FQ™ covers the most characteristic
ways in which people think, feel and interact with others. Derived characteristics
examine team, management and subordinate styles and a number of predictions
including career patterns can be calculated. The 15FQ™ items have been carefully
crafted to avoid gender, race and evaluative bias with published research demonstrating
that the 15FQ™ does not unfairly discriminate against UK minority groups.
15FQ™ Reports
The 15FQ™ provides a choice of over a dozen reports styles for
decision-maker and candidate feedback. Extended reports include team role behaviour,
leadership, subordinate styles, career orientation, strengths and development
needs. 15FQ™ also includes a Job Match profile where a respondent's profile
is compared to the ideal for a given role with an Interview Prompt report providing
questions to guide a feedback interview. All the reports can be generated using
an comprehensive normative base of over 10,000 professional people and can be
integrated with results from reasoning, interest and values questionnaires.
Advantages
The 15FQ™ provides the most comprehensive
and detailed analysis of personality available in a relatively short questionnaire.
Existing 16PF users will find the 15FQ™ style and structure comfortingly
familiar with items and reporting that is succinct and up-to-date. 15FQ™
items avoids the use of terminology which could be viewed by respondents as
culturally or sexually biased. This is confirmed by some of the most extensive
validation evidence for any UK personality questionnaire. The 15FQ™ has
applications in selection assessment, counselling and development of all categories
of staff.
